THE COMPANY'S HISTORY
Ship Equipment Factory in Rzecz was established in 1951 and at that time dealt with the production of door handles, door signboards and the production of small ship accessories.
This was a small enterprise with obsolete stock of machinery. In 1970 the supervision over the company was taken over by the Shipbuilding Industry Association in Gdańsk and the Ministry of Heavy Industry in Warsaw.
In the 1970s the factory's expansion was started on a broad scale. New facilities were created as well as two production halls, warehouse, galvanizing plant, boiler room, power building, casting house, social facility and an office building.
In 1982 the company joined the Association of Shipbuilding Industry Companies, and in July 1992 the governor of Gorzowskie Province became the founding authority.
On 1 April 1994, as a result of transformation of "REMOR" Ship Equipment Factory, a one-person state treasury company "REMOR" S.A. was established. As from 20.03.2007 REMOR has been privatized and incorporated into JAROMA S.A. GROUP /www.jaroma.com.pl/
Currently, the basic operations of the company include the production of solar handles and brass accessories.
